Revolution or Resolution?

One of the things I want to make sure I do next year, is be more organised when it comes to making presents for people on my lists which include at least 7 small children, 3 sisters in law, 2 parent's in law, 1 grandparent, and a quite a few friends ... Here are some of the things I managed this year, which I didn't blog beforehand:

A child organiser - not to put the actual children in, but when you have four, party invites etc., must get mixed up!

These are cards I made from photographs I took at the shop I worked in during the summer.

And these are gift tags from the same pictures, glued onto red corrugated card and embellished with a metal eyelet.

Do you recognise the fabric here? It is from one of Gertie's dresses which Miss T gave me a few months back.
And the picture here is part of the Yule Garland at the top. This I put into a swap along with some of the cards and parcel tags.

  1. So many pretty things. The photos cards are amazing. What a cool idea.

  2. Oooh, I have one of those lovely beaded green Gertie trees - I loved it, and it is now a valuable addition to our Christmas collection.

Love the organiser idea - if you could make one big enough to put actual children in, it'd be great. Perhaps with some buttoning, so I could make sure they stay in there? ;-)

  3. I rather like the idea of a child organiser - pop the child in and hand them on a hook :-).

Thank you again for the Gertie trees. Like all Danes she loved Christmas - she used to put a real emphasis on the word FESTIVE. It's been lovely to have a little bit of her on my tree (as it were :-)).

  4. Looks like you're really on to something with the mutiple child straight-jacket thing. I'd like to place an order for a two child one 'adult' model.
Word verification 'dosie'. I'm sure it won't be long before there's a child at the nursery with that as a name!
