I Heart Gingham

Having forgotton nearly ALL of the things I needed for Pattern class on Friday, I decided to use the scraps from my Cuba Dress MkII to make myself a pencil case.

I am in love with this heavy-weight red gingham and retro ribbon which I bought from The Cloth House last summer.

  2. I have to admit a weakness for gingham. Amongst my stash I have it in every colourway - it's just so fab, isn't it? That pencil case is lovely. x

  3. My love of gingham has wained since making the country dancing headscarves and scrunchies.... the scrunchies were to be worn on the wrist though as the little ones couldn't remeber which hand to lead with in one particular dance! lol

I love the pencil case though...very chic!

  5. Very elegant pencil case. Unfortunately I have bad memories of having to wear pastel ginham blouses for school which I thought were horrible... but I like it in these bold colours.
