From Chaos, emerges Beauty ..

I really shouldn't sew when tired ..

Don't you just hate it when this happens ...

You put it right, sew the bag together, turn it through and then this ....

Cue once more ...

Start again ...

And after a while there is calm ...

Serenity ...

And another 2 gifts are born ...

But it was dark by then, so apologies for the orange glow!!

They are beautiful. I don't know about you, but I always seem to make one big mistake on each sewing 'session'. I'm invariably pleased when it's out of the way.

I am terrible for starting things late at night. When i left school i made a dress for the leavers do and didn't realise till the next morning that i had sewn the skirt piece on inside out! thank goodness for unpickers!
You are getting some great gifts sewn.
Happy weekend xx

They are so pretty. I use my seam ripper - or whatever they're called all the time !

It looks cute! My mom always told me never to start any new project at night, that you ALWAYS make a mistake. Unfortunately, when do we often have free time? At night!

Lucky recipients.

I think I use my seam ripper more than any other tool in my arsenal. And I almost ALWAYS sew at night - when else?!

Those are beautiful, well done. But sewing when tired is deadly!

I love the fabrics you have used. As for sewing mistakes I do not have many as such, my problem is finishing it then thinking it is awful and would have been better if I had done this or that! So starting again!

I can't sew when I'm tired, well nothing beyond straight seams anyway. Too much reverse engineering with my trysty seam ripper otherwise. I like the bag very much.
