While we are drowning in any kind of water which continues to fall from our skies here in the UK, my heart goes out to the poor people down under who are losing their homes and their lives in the searing heat and vicious flames of the bush fires in Victoria, some of which have unbelievably been caused deliberately by members of our own species who must have no heart at all.

The Red Cross have set up an appeal for the victims and are accepting online donations HERE.

You wont believe what I overheard in the cafe today... a chap said to his wife that the firemen probably started them so that they could get the overtime! Denise and I had to bite our tongues and go out the back... it is almost certain that some firemen are numbered among the dead or injured. But people can be very uncaring when something is so far away.... :-( sad really.

Thank you for the link. You're right it's unbelievable to think that people are thought to have started this deliberately. All those innocent lives...

There's something on my blog for you. x

It's quite unbelievable that someone could even consider starting those fires. Who could do such a thing?
