Getting There

Thankyou readers for all your lovely kind wonderful encouraging and supportive comments on the last post!

Perhaps it is a January 'thing' - I have really felt the darkness this year, but every day brings more minutes of light, and soon, when the snow finally melts, my sewing room may be warm enough to sit in once again!

That's not to say that I haven't been making things, oh no! I have LOADS to show you and as usual my mind is brimming over with more ideas than will ever see the light of day! I am working on a new name and slightly new look and focus - well we all need a bit of a makeover now and then to make us feel zippyzappy, don't you agree?! I'd like to get back to regular posting soon, so watch this space!

And thankyou again!

I thought of you today. I've been altearing a pattern that was lovely on the page but didn't fit me at all - so I've moved seams, altered the bust point and changed the neckline. The only reason I have the courage is from reading your inspirational posts - thank you!!!

I don't think I could say I ever feel 'zippyzappy'.

It's good to hear from you, though

Hi, Julia! Winter is a tough time. I too am feeling the dark, the cold, the snow... LOL! Sometimes we just need some extra time, extra cheer and such to get through until the warmer, sunnier days are more plentiful. Very glad you are seeing the positive and looking forward to many things. And to know you will still be here. Very much look forward to your makeover here, etc. I know what you mean about makeovers... I just did one at my place--I feel so much better...LOL! Take care... Happy Weekend ((HUGS))

So sorry the asthma's been so grim and the fog so murky -I really noticed this evening that it was lighter. I'm excited to see your new blog direction and it's fabulous that your noggin is full of designs and makes. Show us!

Hope your asthma is starting to leave you alone....mine has started to rear it's ugly head again these last couple of weeks ... do you think it's the horrible weather we've been having? Perhaps it's because you tend to be stuck inside more? Who knows.. Hope you soon get it back under control and you get some energy back. Looking forward to seeing what you've making and seeing the results of your makeover. Take care.
