Lots to tell..

Ever since I appeared in Sew Magazine this month, things have been a bit "rushed" to say the least... my new bike has been working overtime with box laden trips to the post office!  I couldn't have picked a worse time to move my website over to another provider, but luckily, it's a very easy site to operate and maintain, and so it's been a smooth transition to Create.net .. thankyou all for your input on my last post.  I am VERY happy not least because everything now works so much better than I could have imagined.  Do go and have a peek if you have a moment!

There is much to tell on other fronts .. A report on a new haberdashery shop which has opened in Oxford - a vintage haberdashery shop no less ... oh yes.. imagine giant rik-rak, antique lace, and a soundtrack by Imelda May ...

And my latest "ohmygodi'veonlygottwoweekstodothis" project!

It's a theatrical costume for a maidservant in the court of Richard III.  It will be worn during a 'one woman performance' at the Edinburgh festival 6 times a day (or something just as tiring) for the whole of August!

I start work on it tomorrow - watch this space!!

ps:  Sew are running a comp to win one of my kits - have a look HERE.

A vintage haberdashery shop. In Oxford. With all kinds of amazing stuff.

Oh, why did you have to tell me about it?! I'm going to have to go and take a look now. Whereabouts is it?? :)

Vintage haberdashery! Giant ricrac is surely required on that maidservant's costume.
