Today the rain has been utterly relentless. It hasn't stopped even for a minute. But apparently, according to the emergency services it is "Pluvial", not "Fluvial" which means there's no flooding alert YET ...
Gorgeous flowers, make you smile don't they. It's days like this that I'm so pleased to be living on a hill. Thing is, if we lose our water supply - a not infrequent thing here, we lose it first. Ah well, I'd rather walk to the river for water than be flooded by it.
Love the happy sunflower! And fun to catch up on your posts now we're back. We had FAB time in London! We needed our umbrellas a bit while in England, but luckily had some sun too! Now resting travel-weary feet and doing lots of laundry--LOL! Happy weekend ((HUGS))
What beautiful sunflowers!
ReplyDeleteWe've built our ark.
ReplyDeleteLovely sunflowers!
Small comfort - it was still the most miserable day yesterday and although it is dry here today, it is still as dull as dishwater...
ReplyDeleteThe beautiful bloom has brightened my day. I hope it does the same for you soon - literally!

ReplyDeletePants weather though - I managed three soakings on Wednesday, despite wearing the right clothes!
