I was invited to the museum of costume by one of the curators a few years ago... she was going to let me examine some of the costumes and actually get to touch them... but I couldnt go as I was far too busy... it has been on my wish list forever!!! What a marvellous present. Enjoy!

Oh, yes, I can imagine how ridiculously excited you are about visiting Bath and your stay at that lovely place! Several years ago my husband had a business meeting in Bath and I got to go along. I discovered the Museum of Costume and right now the color booklet that I purchased there is laying here on my desk. I visited at least twice, maybe three times because I absolutely loved studying the beautiful clothing. Is this the same place you will be visiting? I had the book out because I was pulling my books for an exhibit on Crazy Quilting and when I read your post, I was like "oh, my, what a lucky lady you are to be visiting Bath!!" We enjoyed a wonderful week there ....well, my husband worked during the day but myself and some of the other wives - not his but other committee members wives - tee hee - went on walk-a-bouts or took buses to visit every nook and cranny we could find. We enjoyed tea at Sally "something or other" but I cannot recall the last name. Wonderful trip!!
