I quite fancy one of those for my kitchen... facinating info...
I think this recession is going to change a lot of peoples perceptions of life and to be honest the youth of today could do with a slap to point out that money does not grow on trees and they can survive without designer names and every gadget under the sun.... I think community spirit could possible stand a chance of rebirth... here's hoping!

That was a great link Julia - I never realised the poster had such a great story.

I like the one that says Now Panic and Freak Out! Sort of sums up my life really! x
It's iconic, don't you think? The Times gave one away a couple of months ago - now safely stashed in my History box...
Did you know that to be a teacher, you have to be a magpie?!
Some of the best advice I've heard in a long time. One hangs in my mudroom and is the first thing me or my visitors see upon entering my home :)
barter books in Alnwick where they found that poster is the cheapest place I've found to order it from, I've seen other sites selling it for 3 or 4 times their price.
Agree with driftwood about Barter Books - besides which, it seems right to give the money to the people who unearthed it. I bought mine a couple of years ago after seeing it somewhere, and now have successful band syndrome - you know, when your favourite undiscovered band suddenly gets on TOTP and then everyone loves them...No, I haven't grown up at all. And I miss TOTP.
Splendid story.
I also like the Dig for Victory poset as well.
