Treasure from Down Under

I think I might not be talking too soon this time by saying that I DO feel better today. I have been to work and I have even managed to do some sewing, which, after 10 days of having no inspiration or will to do anything in the sewing room, is quite something. Thankyou all so much for your lovely kind messages. It's really amazing how much better they make one feel! Thankyou.

Do you remember a while ago, I won the most fabulous giveaway - I never win giveaways! This was a jackpot win though as the prize was one of Tracy's quilts ... It arrived the week before last!

I've been stroking it and gazing at it ever since!

I love the way Tracey has used lots of sparkly silver material...

The stitching is exquisite and quite awe inspiring!

The subject isn't bad either!

The detail is just AMAZING!

This is surely a future heirloom for my grandchildren and it will have such a wonderful story to go with it! Thankyou so much Tracy! A treasure which I will treasure for a very long time!

Glad to hear you're feeling better - you've had such a rough time. Now you just need to pace yourself and don't get overdoing it. Easy, right?!

How lovely!!! I had to call the fire brigade out on Sunday morning. I was dropping my daughter off at the tram stop when we noticed smoke coming from under the bonnett!! I was mortified as they sent the fittest looking fireman that my daughter and I had ever seen, and I hadnt even brushed my hair!!! let alone applied lippy!!! Any way, the car survived!!

He is a pretty cool looking firefighter. I'm certain that this quilt should be in all training manuals to show correct hosing technique!

Thanks for your kind words.
