I know I keep promising 'news' and it will come - hopefully tomorrow when the thing I am waiting to show you arrives!!
So ......
In the meantime, here's something for you - isn't this a lovely banner?
No! The banner isn't for you! But there is a 10% discount for any of my readers who would like to buy some lovely fabric from this fairly new online retailer, FancyMoon Fabrics .
I have to admit that I'm very impressed with Fancy Moon, not because of their name or their banner - though both are very very cool, and not because of their wide range of lovely fabric which includes ....
Japanese Designs
Retro inspired prints
all the favourites that everybody knows ...
... and loves
But because of their huge range of
Alexander Henry Fabrics
and I mean HUGE!
Have you got any idea how difficult it is to get these wholesale in the UK? I can tell you, that it's damn near impossible!
So a big hand for FancyMoon Fabrics, because I love Alexander Henry fabrics, but I never can be bothered to order them from the US, and now I don't have to!
And that's got to be worth a mention!
To claim your 10% discount - between now, and the last day of November this year, all you have to do is enter the word "curvy" (lower case without the inverted commas) into the voucher code box on the checkout page after filling your basket with lovely fabrics!

Once I reduce my current stash (it's not big but I have limited space) I'm onto the website to buy some AH gorgeousness. And you know what, following your fb comment, I might make a corset out of it :D Will make sure I do a couple of practice muslins first though, lol
Gosh thanks, looks very appealing!!
Thanks - i'll be taking a good look through this. xxxx
Oh, now, it's just naughty to post not only a link but a discount code because I shall have to head over there now - it would be rude not to!
Hi! I am friends with Tracey from Peppermint Patcher- she recommended vissiting you for some fabric suggestions. We have moved from Australia to UK for a little while and just wondering what your top shopping spots would be for dress fabric over here? In particular, I would like to get some light weight wool for the lady grey sew along via gertie's blog. Is there anywhere in particular you would recommend in London?
I absolutely love your blog!! I am just learning re: sewing vintage clothes but it is my absolute dream to be able to also design the patterns too. Will definately be stopping by more often!!
Tnakyou!!

Oooh, now that's tempting. I'm off to have a look. Thanks for the tip off. x
